Preeclampsia: As Told by Black Women in New Jersey
Are you a Black woman who experienced preeclampsia during or after pregnancy? Your voice matters! Join our study to share your story and help improve how healthcare providers diagnose and treat preeclampsia in Black women. If you’re 18 or older, gave birth between 2022 and 2024 in NJ, PA, NY, CT, NH, MA, RI, ME, or VT, and were diagnosed with preeclampsia, you’re eligible to participate. This study, led by an all-Black women research team, includes a 45-60 minute interview and a short 15-minute survey. As a thank-you, you’ll receive a $100 gift card for your time. East Orange Black Legacy Project (EOBLP)
The city of East Orange ranks has one of the highest Black infant mortality rates in the state. The Black Legacy Project is a research-based community project designed to help redesign systems to ensure Black infants are born healthy and celebrate their first birthday.
