Briana Cole is a public service professional and fundraiser dedicated to advancing racial and reproductive justice. She currently serves as a Development Officer at the New York Civil Liberties Union, where she oversees fundraising communications, supports grant-writing efforts, manages donor materials including the Annual Impact Report, and helps coordinate key donor engagement events.
Briana holds a Master of Public Administration in Advocacy and Political Action from NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, where she was a founding member of NYU REPRO—a graduate student-led network focused on reproductive health, rights, and justice. Her passion for Black maternal health equity is deeply personal, and she is honored to bring her strategic fundraising expertise to this work in her home state of New Jersey. Briana began her development career at the Environmental Defense Fund, managing mid-level and monthly donor relationships. She is a proud alumna of Ramapo College of New Jersey, where she studied voice performance—music remains one of her greatest joys. She now lives in Astoria, Queens, with her cat Corey.
